With the rollout of the new brand and impressive developments at VCU, the time was right to make a bid for being admitted to the Big East Conference.
Task
Using dynamic portraits of star players, this piece made the case by highlighting achievements in addition to athletics — innovation rankings, enrollment, diversity, and research. Ultimately, student-athlete success and reaching tournaments go hand-in-hand.
