Chronicle of Higher Education

The lead up to a new brand platform prompted VCU to release a series of “challenger” and awareness ads in the in peer publication, Chronicle for Higher Education.

Task

In order to set itself apart from regional competitors, VCU used its claim as a diversity and inclusion champion and paired it with the message of its strides in research and innovation. The results were impactful glimpses that increased national awareness and set the ground for a campaign that would define the core of VCU going forward.
