Relevant by design.

After the rebrand from MCV to VCU Health, a new annual report was expected to narrate a year of growth and change by design.

Task

"Relevant by design" was the theme for 2015 and 2016 — a fiscal year that included the rebrand, building of the Children's Hospital, a new dean, and the UCI Road World Championships in Richmond. The stories were built for a mobile-first experience and collected in expanding elements on the home page. From there, users were able to navigate to supporting content that offered financial growth metrics and overall statistics for the hospital's operations.
